North American Convention 2009

Ceoltoiri na Sionnaine performed recently at the North American Convention in St. Louis, Missouri. A group of 25 musicians travelled over on Thursday the 15th of April and stayed in the Ballpark Hilton Hotel for the 4 day convention. We were greeted on arrival by the St. Louis CCE. We played for ceilis at the hotel each night and were received very well. We played a concert, on the Saturday which was also in the hotel. Everyone had a great time on the trip which would not have been possible without the very generous funding from Culture Ireland, whom we would like to sincerely thank.
