Michael O'Malley

I come from Newport in Co. Tipperary. At the moment I'm in U.L studying Electronic Engineering, and I'm in third year. I started playing the violin when I was five, and then started playing traditional music when I was twelve. I am currently a member of the Maigh Rua/An Cheapach Mhor branch of comhaltas, and previously was a member of the Thurles comhaltas branch. I have competed in Limerick and Tipperary county fleadhs as well as Munster fleadhs.

Denise O'Connell

Denise O'Connell originates from Courtbrack(a very small village) in Cork and has been living in Limerick for the past 4 years where she is studying Irish music and dance in U.L. She is a member of the Bru Boru music and dance show and performs with them during the summer months

My name is Aoife Moloney. I live in Newport Co. Tipperary. I've been dancing since I was 3 and I'm in the Fleming Ball school of Irish dancing. I have competed in Munster, Irish, Scottish and British championships. I have danced in groups with scor and also danced in world championships. I also dance every tuesday night in adare during the summer, which is run by comhaltas

Aine O'Malley

My name is Aine O'Malley. I live in Newport Co. Tipperary. I have been learning the violin from a very early age. I began playing classical music when I was five years old, and then continued on to play traditional music. I am a member of Murroe/Cappamore CCE. I have competed in many county fleadhs and also a few munster fleadhs. In my hometown, my friends and I have organised a music group for Scor na nOg. Last year we were very successful as we reached the Munster final. I also play the piano and at the moment I am doing grade 7.
